I have a snow day today (woo hoo!) so I just wanted to stop by and leave a little note for my followers – that sounds cult-like, doesn’t it? – my dedicated readers. For a variety of reasons, I am going to be taking a bit of a break from blogging – longer than my normal breaks – but I fully intend on resuming blogging when life permits. I expect to be chatting with many of you on your own blogs but my blog will go a bit quiet for the time being. Frankly, it is not as if pandemic life is giving me much of interest to share with you.
I shall sign off with some photos of when we Picts recently walked almost the entire length of the Powerline Trail.
Enjoy your break but don’t forget to come back.
Thank you. I will definitely be back.
Thanks for posting this. I’d have wondered. Sending my best.
Thank you. Yes, a couple of people had already contacted me so I thought it best to just make it official.
Enjoy your break. Probably see you on “A Bit About Britain” !
Thank you!
Looks cold! Enjoy your break. I have nothing much happening to write about either, will have to think.
It was a little chilly but not as cold as it looks. A nine mile walk kept us warm in any case. We are currently in the midst of a snow storm that began on Sunday and it is still snowing now on Tuesday morning.
Brr! Sleeting here, horrible.
Go Picts! I am impressed about the Power Line! Please let me know if I can help if you need me. I am right here.
Thank you and I will.
We skipped the section down by Blair Mill and started instead at the Dresher Road lot. It was a lot of walking but mostly flat, as you know, so it was not too hard going.
I heartily recommend the Perkiomen some time (not in winter as they don’t plow it or whatever). It’s a multi day thing as you may remember from my blogs last summer, but there are sections that lend themselves to a nice long walk, and it is shady and scenic.
Yes. I still have your notes on that one and we will definitely try it once the weather improves.
Ah, it’s good to see you all enjoying the outdoors together! Have a good break and hopefully see you again before too long 😊
Thanks, Helen.
